Okay. So I'm a slacker.
Sorry, y'all.
I haven't posted since almost exactly a month ago.
I would make it a new years resolution to start blogging more, but we all know how long those last. I've heard some people say that this year, they were going to start over with their life. I haven't seen much starting over.
Anyways, I'm going to TRY to start blogging at least once a week. TRY is the keyword.
Sooo, I have a few things to ask of you guys.
1. Go like my Facebook page (Kana Farrell).
2. I'm trying to raise money to help my Mom go to Africa in March. So if you wanna help with that, let me know and I'll give you the details.
And 3. I'm trying to get a MacBook Pro :))))) my Mom said that she'll get me one for my birthday under some circumstances, but I'm still trying to save up for one anyway. So again, if you wanna help with that, let me know.

So, last week, my Mom surprised me with tickets to the Taylor Swift concert! How awesome is that?????
There's a picture of the crowd :) it was sooooo amazing. It was almost like a musical.

Born This Way - Lady GaGa (Album Review)

Okay, soo this is the review for Lady GaGa's new album "Born This Way". This is my opinion on it.

1. Marry the Night: As the 1st song on the album, I think that it's a great way to start it out. It's a positive song about being strong and living in the moment. Definitely one of my favorites on the album :)
2. Born This Way: Okay, everyone has probably heard this song, unless you live under a rock. So, all I'm going to say is that this is a beautiful song about being yourself. Agreed?
3. Government Hooker: Ehh. I didn't really like it. The song is about hooking up with various presidents :/ weird. Then again, weird is normal for Lady GaGa.
4. Judas: Ohh, I just adore this song :) it's pretty religious for Lady GaGa. It's about how she's in a relationship with Jesus, but she's still in love with Judas. Very interesting. The video is cool too.
5. Americano: Well......it made me want to dance.....but something about it seemed like it was the type of song you would do a jig to. Lol
6. Hair: I think a lot of teens can relate to this song. It's about not having the freedom to be who you want to be. I've felt like that sometimes, and I can really understand what GaGa is talking about.
7. Scheibe: "I don't speak German, but I can if you like owww!" Lol, I lovee this song soo much, it's a song that makes you want to get off your feet and dance.
8. Bloody Mary: A pretty interesting song. It made me want to do the robot. Lol, she really illustrated the story behind the song on this one.
9. Bad Kids: This song ROCKS. Nuff said.
10. Highway Unicorn (Road to Love): I feel like this song describes someone chasing a unicorn on a motorcycle lol
11. Heavy Metal Lover: This song would make an awesome remix
12. Electric Chapel: <3
13. Yoü and I: Oh. My. Goodness. I am soooo in love with this song. Definitely one of my favorites <333

It's about these two cousins who are best friends, one is a scholar and a good girl and the other one is a high school drop-out who is reckless and parties wayyyy too hard and wayyyy too much.
What ends up happening is that the rckless one gets pregnant and the scholar helps her through the pregnancy and the reckless cousin wants the scholar cousin to adopt her baby.

My brother Kush got a dog named Msichana for his birthday. It ran up on a family friend's son, and their Mom just happened to be talking to my Mom at the time. So Mom and Kush went to their house, and got the dog!
She is very frisky.
She's about 8 to 12 weeks old, an intelligent dog, and hard-headed.
Oh yeah, and she is a Labrador/ Pit Bull mix.
We love her, but my 3 year old brother is scared of her.
She likes to jump on him a lot and play with him. I think it's because he's her size.

Okay, I've been adjusting to my new house lately ( Yes, we moved), so thats why I haven't posted in a while. We went to the circus Saturday with Ms. Sharon (Mom's friend), Justin (Her son), Kalia (His Girlfriend), and some other people (Meaning this school and adults from Hope). Afterwards we went to Cici's pizza and I sat at a table with Justin and Kalia and watched them flirt and couple up with each other.
It was sickening.
Kalia and I have some issues.

At New Direction's youth ministry (180 youth ministries), I am kind of know as the smartie. i mean, it's not like I'm a nerd or anything, just that i get all the answers right when questions are asked.

Here we go: I'm still fasting my friend got a new trampoline for Christmas so i jump on it like every day and i need new earphones for my ipod so I'm going to buy the apple brand and my grandmother got me a Michael Jackson book and me and my brother were supposed to get baptized on Sunday but something stupid happened with the baptism pool and then i almost cried and I'm going to church tonight and i really need friends at that church i think the girls there seem a little intimidated by me and I'm hungry so i think I'm going to eat breakfast now bye

Tonight we're going to church, and Gibraltar is going to bring (Vegan) Chocolate Chip Cookies (Which i'm making).

Fasting (UG!)

Okay, so our church is doing a little something called fasting.
Fasting is when you usually give up food for a certain amount of days.
The grownups are doing THAT for 21 days, but this is what our youth ministry is doing for 21 days.
We are turning off all Technology at 7 pm, and listing to NO SECULAR MUSIC!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
That means no Beyonce, no Jay Sean, no Shakira, no Britney Spears, no Taylor Swift, no Rihanna, no Paramore, no Justin Bieber, no Demi Lovato, no Jonas Brothers, no NOTHING.
Right now I am listening to a playlist of the only 4 gospel songs that I have on my iPod (On repeat).
I just can't deal with that people!

I've got 1 week down, 2 more weeks to go.

FFF update

The FFF was AWESOME!!!!
My friends Autumn and Eva came with us, so that was super fun!
When we got there, I headed straight for the volunteer table. I got my t-shirt, and went to my volunteer area, the duck pond.
It was OK, a little boring, cause some of the kids wanted to stay and feel around in the water for the ducks OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER.
When my shift was over, my Mom, my little brother, and Autumn came to get me.
Then, I had to return my volunteer shirt.
THEN, Autumn practically dragged me to Kidz Blitz, this live game show in which kids do pretty weird stunts.
After that, all of us kids went game and candy hopping.
THEN, just when we were about to leave, all of us wanted to go on a couple more rides outside, so first, all of us went on this thing where you climb up the top, and then you slide down.
The slide was pretty steep, so that was fun.
After that my two older brothers, Kush and Zeke, and my friend Eva, went to the mechanical bull, while autumn and I went on this other super cool inflatable obstacle course, which was long and AWESOME!
I have a soccer game today, and I might be going to a churches Saturday service, so see ya!

I am volunteering for my churches fall fun fest. It's called Hope Presbyterian and it's from 5:30 till 10:00 I think. The cost is 2 and under get in free, everyone else has to pay $3.00 a wristband. Lucky for me, volunteers get a free admission!
My youth group has a bible study every Wednesday called 6:28 (obviously because it STARTS at 6:28), and next week we are having a costume contest AND a pumpkin carving contest!!! We have to bring in our pumpkins, and the one who's carved best gets a hundred dollars to go on whatever trip they want!! Same prize goes for the costume contest. Whoever has the best costume wins.
Pretty simple, right?
I'm going as an obnoxious tourist.

I am a part of all kinds of social networks : Nick, Poptropica, Millsberry, Club Penguin, Barbie Girls, and some other ones that I am forgetting right now.
But sometimes I act like it's my life. Like on Millsberry, it's like a little town. So I'll say, "Oh no! I didn't go to the bank and collect my interest!" Then Mom (Or Dad, but usually Mom) will say "Huh?" And I'll say, "Oh, on Millsberry". Then she'll say,"Kana, your too obsessed with these social networks. I am addicted to downloading videos off of google. There's like a video section, and I go to google a LOT, so eventually I saw that you can download(Certain) videos to your ipod/psp. Since I had an ipod, I was like, AHHHHHHHHH! YOU CAN DOWNLOAD VIDEOS ON HERE!!!!
So now like everyday I am downloading videos off of google.

I was waiting for my dad to pick me up from soccer practice. I was kicking around my soccer ball when I hear " Kana, Kana, Kana!"
I look up and I see Aislinn running towards me. I said "Hey Ash!" She ran over and gave me a hug. Aislinn (Pronounced Ashlyn) is turning 8 years old today. She's such a sweet girl and loves me to death. Then Autumn came running over going "Kana!" She gave me a hug also. Autumn is turning 14 next week. She's a really good friend. I know I can count on her to be there for me. We've had fights, but we've always made up in the end.They were there Autumn and Aislinn live right across the street. Aislinn lives directly across the street from me, and Autumn lives next door to Aislinn. Autumn has 2 sisters. Julia, and Evalyn (But we call her Eva). Eva is 12, and Julia is 11. Aislinn has a baby brother named William (We call him Wills.) He's 2. I love Aislinn like a little sister. I love Autumn like a Best Friend. I remember first meeting Autumn. My ex friends (Averin and Rachel, They're sisters) were smothering them as they were unpacking because they were moving in, so they became friends with them first. Luckily the ex friends moved a year and a half later. Yay! Any way, Rachel introduced me to them the next day. She said their name as each one of them walked into the house. But she made a mistake. She called Autumn Eva, and Eva Autumn. So I tried to introduce myself to Autumn. I walked up to her and was all "Hey Eva, I'm Kana". Then she gave me this weird look and said, I'm not Eva. And I said "Then who are you"? And she said ''I'm Autumn". I was sooo embarrassed. Eventually we became closer,and became friends. When I met Aislinn, we knew that someone was moving in the house across the street, because we would see a man coming and going at the house. So one day, Autumn, I, and my brothers were playing outside, when I saw a little girl standing in her driveway. Then a figure that looked to me like a teenager came out and stood beside her. I was like, "Guys! There's a little girl out here! And she has a big sister!" Then one of my brothers said " Kana, that's her Mom." I was like "Oops!"

Tonight I'm going to Aislinn's Birthday party. I hope she has the best birthday ever.

So my birthday is coming next month, August 7th to be exact, and I am turning 12! I must be getting old because when I was younger I would always want a million stuff. But really I just want 2 or 3 things. I am not having a party this year, which sucks. But i'm really not like, "Oh my gosh, my birthday is in less than a week! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" I remember when I was little, on my birthday I would jump on my parents bed as soon as I woke up, which would wake the entire house up. I really hope it doesn't rain on my birthday. That would just suck. Unfortunately, I am not able to access my email account to check the weather forecast because of technical difficulties. Okay, i'll just say it! It's all google's fault!

Thing's I need to do for my Birthday:
1. Create a Birthday playlist
2. Pick out a outfit
3. Pick out the food
4. Prepare for phone calls
5. Find a place to store my presents
6. Charge my ipod to full
7. Make sure my room is clean

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention? I'm going to a party on Saturday! One of my friends at the Summer camp I went to (Her name is Luba) invited me to a party at her house! I'll make sure to get back to you guys on that.

Chicken Soup For The Soul

Okay.
Here I am, at the library, with about 9 chicken soup for the souls. And I don't even eat chicken soup!
But there are some crazy titles for these books. Like CSFT nurse's soul, CSFT teachers soul, CSFT pet lovers soul, CSFT Jewish soul, and so on.
But I know one thing: Those books are really good! They keep you turning the page with every story.These stories make you cry, some make you laugh, some make you angry!
These people who submit these stories are of all ages! One of the books I got was CSFT Girls soul! I never realized that some people have horrible lives, and they survived it! I always thought that not everyone has a interesting story to tell.But every person has a story.
Now it's our turn to listen.

Wow. I'm in serious shock. I've cried my eyes out. And I haven't smiled in hours.

I also for the last week, have had my first week of camp!
We had to design and run a field day for the Spark girls.
Spark is a summer camp for girls that are in Junior Kindergarten and Seinor Kindergarten(Those are the Ladybugs), 1st Grade and Second Grade(Butterflies), And 3rd Grade and 4th Grade(Sting). That was really fun. I'm looking forward to next week! Dad will be here in a few hours!

I have a really packed June. I have VBS, Hutchison School summer camp, my Dad's coming in town, and my family is going to Nashville! I have never in my life have had such a packed month! One state from being together, but lets not ask why its not right you won't be.... Oh, sorry, I'm listening to Seventeen Forever while typing this. Back on track. Okay, its over.
Now, where was I? Oh yes, packed June.
Being involved in all these things is very overwhelming! I probably am not going to be typing very much for the next few weeks, mainly because of all the stuff, and we're planning to move on July 1st.So basically that's about it! See you guys in a few weeks!

T.V is awesome, but has anybody noticed how controlling it can be? Some people will put it before anything else. If not that, they're begging their parents for a flat screen. If not that, they're rushing home to watch Sonny With A Chance.
That's why we don't have a T.V.
My 10 year old brother is a great example. When we go to our Aunt's house, he always hogs the T.V! I mean, not that it's his fault. Thats what the T.V people want him to do. Hog it.
I'll admit that i'm not the best sharer when it comes to T.V. That's how they get you. I think that people can do better by spending time with their family, playing outside,
reading. All of those things will do.
And I do every one of them (Not to brag or anything).

Yesterday I went to the Doctors Office.
WOW.
I did NOT know what I was in for.
First they measured me and all of that.
THEN the nurse gave me a blood test, which meant a SHOT!
After that, she left and returned with a oversized paper gown, which she told me to put on.
And then the doctor came in and was telling me and mom a bunch of stuff I didn't understand.
Then she checked me out, and she told me to put on short-sleeves, because I was getting 2 more SHOTS!
I didn't HAVE short-sleeves, so I kept the paper gown on.
Then the nurse came back with 2 needles.
All I can say is ouch.
So then, soon after that, I left!
I was glad to be out of there!
